"Radha and Krishna" is a beautiful painting by famous Indian artist Raja Ravi Varma, created in the year 1901. Raja Ravi Varma (1848–1906) was well-known for his unique style, which beautifully combined realistic European techniques with traditional Indian themes, especially from mythology and religion. He often painted scenes from Indian epics like the Mahabharata and Ramayana, capturing emotional and dramatic moments with great skill. His paintings became very popular and were later reproduced as oleographs, so that common people could also enjoy his art in their homes.
